What is this? 

This site and this space is a transition into something a little more raw [and unpolished].

It has taken me a little over 2 years to finally get started on a professional website and even with all that time, I really struggled to find an ending to it. Something about it was just a little off. The more I worked on it, refining it, organizing it, it felt farther away from what it really was. Kind of like that overly photoshopped portrait where the skin has been blurred to the point where it looks like plastic. That was what I was left with; a plastic shell of myself that I supposed was to showcase to others so that I could find work. 

So instead of complaining and feeling sorry for myself, I decided to spend the few extra bucks to buy myself another URL to create another space for myself. A space where you can see some of the cellulite and pimpled-ridden aspects of my creative mind because ultimately, that is what made me; me. 

By no means is this a revolutionary idea or probably an original one. But it definitely is an unpopular one. The idea of publishing only the best of oneself has been solidified via social media and thus even sketchbooks shown look like extremely curated and perfect. I wanted to see the mess ups, the ugly scribbles and the progress. And realizing that I kept wanting to see it, why not just show it.
